JUBILEE SINGERS.

This pnpular Company will appear in New Plymonth next; week. An exchange speaking of a late entertainment ssys:—The entertainment at the Theatre Roy.il was a capital one, and the performers were repeatedly recalled by the enthusiastic audience. The plantation song* and choruses were well given, and thi beauty of the cultivated voices was fully demonstrated. Mr Eugene McAdoo, Mr R. H. Calling, Misj Belle Gibbon", and Miss Dszalia Underwood each secured deserved encore? for the eo!os sun?. Gauze, the male mezzosoprano, fairly cap'ivated the audience, i and he bad to re-appear several times in answer to the enthusiasm he aroused in the audience, Mis* Belle Gibbon's fine baritone voice was well illustrated in the silo "Toe Holy City." "The Vacant Chair," and " The Death of Neken," which were sung by Mr, R. H. Collins, were most enjoyable contributions ; and " Masfa in de cold, cold Ground," and "Rocked in the Deep," given by the old favorite (Mr. Eugenine McAdoo) were equally so. Altogether the concert was thoroughly enjoyable. Professor C. A. White fully niainttinod Irs reputation as a musician and accompanist. The Comany will on Tuesday, and the programme will be changed each ev»ning. We anticipate that there will be a large attendance, as the merits of the Company are undoubted.
