THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS. At the Land Office this (Thursday) morning a ballot for saveral s c ction in different blocks in the province was hi-Id. Tha following is the result: — Sections 42 and 43, block 11, Waitara (200 acres), 141 applications, Lonisa Falconer, Tongaporutu. Section IC, block 3, and section 5, bl■-•ok 4, Ntfntimaru(ll7 acres 3 roods), 70 application'', Agnes Mar-ray,Eltham. Section 8, block 1, Taurakawa (200 acr:e), 40 applications, M. Carelan, St> a'ford.
Section 15, block 4, Omora (200 ucres), 33 applications. 0. A. Sexton, Row.'i;.
Section 13, block 13, Mahoe (200 acres), 33 application?, F. J. Sexton, JJowan.
Section 5, block 11, Ngatimaru (129 acres), 11 applications, James Stanford, Stra'timorH.
Section 4, block 1, Mirai (105 aws), 7 applications, E. Walsh, junr., Tongaporutu. One section in the Egmont distict, two in the Mirui, and two in the Peuatu were not applied for.
