WESLEYAN CHURCH CONFERENCE.

PBB PRKSS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, March 4. The Wesleyan Conference met thk morning in ministerial session when it was resolved that the Revs. William Beckett, M. E. Gilmour, R. P. KealL, D. Weatherall, W. Wills, W. Greenslade, J. H. Haslam, A. N. Scotter, W„ R. Tuck, and R. Wilien be pasesd i» thfir respective years of probation. Th* Rev. £. P. Blamiers wa« reported as having travelled one year, the Revc. A. Reader and W. J. Oxbrow war* received on probation, and will be appointed to circuits. Messrs. 0. Eaton, E. D. Fatchett, and Joseph Belton remain for a eeeend year in FrinosAlbert College for further training, Several candidates for the ministry were orally examined; but consideration of their eases was not concluded when the session closed. A. question was raised as to the power of the Administration and Building? and Loan Committee, and the riding of the President that they had acted within their powers was carried by 81 to 18 rotes, Further consideration at the subject was deferred to next session. In the evening an ordination service was held, the candidates being the Rets. W. S. Bowrie, J. W. Barton, and Hamiora Kiugf. The charge was delivered by the President. R. G. Gook was recaived as a minister on probation.
