At the quarterly meeting of tfct Napier Licencing Committee to-day* the police reported unfavourably o» the manner in which tho Caledonia* Hotel was conducted during the kite quarter. Complaints were frcquen* as to rows in the hotel, and ob tke> 16th February, after midaight, a fight. took plat e there, the police having to be called in to quell it. The hetel was now satisfactorily conducted.. After considering the report the committee decided the l'censo moat bev transferred within a month.
