Those interested in the Garden Fete which tikes place this afternoon at Bell UlocU at tho rosidonce of Mr Bennett ' f 'o reminded that a special train leaves ' t io town station at a quarter post ono ' o'clock stopping to pick up passengers ■ at Eliot Street. The programme is a very attractive one for both afternoon ' and evening and given a fine day there I b every indication of the affair beiDg ' ra.ist susce? -iful. The object is a moat ! rommeudab!': ?:w and will doubtless oni lirt the svßii:'i.thies of tho whole of the Church of Enghisd people and their friends throughout the district. Return trains will leave Bell Block at 5.16 and 0,15 in the evening. Refreshments are provided en the grounds and every one will be made welcome.
