GROSS CRUELTY TO A HORSE.
lAt Ingleweod, on Friday, eight individuals (they cannot b-3 called men) wore charged before Mr. It. L. Stanford, S.M., with cruelty to a horse. One of the accused was a married man. It appears that by way of diversion they tied a small tin to a horse's hindquarters, but that having no effect a large milk bucket wpssubs'ituted, with the result that th" poor animal, when started, raced itself to death. The ringleader in this brutally was finei 110, two otbe's 15 each, threj £1 each, and the remaining two were d;scharged.
