HARBOUR BOARD.

NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES. ! The nomination of candidates for the New Plymouth Harbour Board closed at noon on Wedoesday. In only two divisions will there be a cont st, viz, 1 Siratford and Clifton. In the former, Mr. Ralfe's return is opposed by Mr. W. McL. Kennedy, and in the latter Mr. Hignett meets with a rival in the person of Mr. Robt. H. Pigott. The unopposed members, Messrs. Maxwell, Oonnett, Kiug, and McLean have been declared duly elected. Pulling for Stratford and Clifton takes place on February 11th.
