ran pbws Wellington, January 15. The Bap*ift Church, in Yivianstreet, was yesterday broken into, evidently by mischievous boys. In the class the money boxes and cupboards were opened and the contents scattered abmt. Damage was also done to the harmonium and pictures, also to the sacramental cups and the book* in the tody of the church. TVday time boys, Churl's and Edward Hauyhey and Edward Burke, were arrested and charged at the Magistrate's Court with having committed the offence, and with the theft af other articles. Tlia same lads were before the Court for theft a few days ago. The boys were discharged on the understanding they would be kept under control, and Burke was reinandid, practically on probation.
