(PBB PRESS ASSOCIATION.' *' } WiOTAirot, December 12." ~ The following ©Won bands.bare, entered for the contest to be held' at Wanganui in March next:—Garrison, Jupps, Petone, Wellington; Waihi, Aucklmd ; City Band, New Plymouth; Wookton, diristchurch; Mfnicipil, VJasterton ; s Garrisou, Palmerston North,; Feilding, Woodvjlle, and Garrison, Wanganui. Tho test pieces are (1) Selection from Bellini's Opera, " J Puritam," arranged by W. and (2) Selection entitled " Gems frojtf Sullifan's Operas " arranged by J. Ord Hume. It is expected that the jnusi>' will be m the hands of nil the contestants eimultineously on Thursday.
