RAID ON GAMBLERS.

PEE PBBSS ASSOCIATION. Chbibtchubch, November 13. For some time past the police have been watching a yard in Gloucesterstreet which was used by a "two-up" school, and this afternoon they made e raid on the premises, where between forty and fifty men were gambling, and capture! twelve of them after an exciting eaone. All the men had money, and one was possessed of £6l. A considerable sum which was in tho ring iia stakes was seized, The men will I be brought before the Court this morning, and charged with a breach of the Gambling uud Lotteries Act.
