PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington November 13. A conference of Inspectors of Schools has been convened by the Minister of Education to be held at the end of January. ■ In the Trinity College musical examinations, seven pupils of St. Mary's Convent obtained honours, and five passed. For the Associated Board and Royal Academy gold medal for Australasia, Miss Gwen Flanagan, a Convent {pupil, took the leading position with > 140 out of 150 marks. At the inquest on the body of James Wilsoa, hulk-keeper, found in the harbour yesterday, the verdict returned was " Accidentally drowned." Mrs. Grey, wife of the secretary to the Post and Telegraph Department, died to-day. The deceased lady was a sister of the late Mr, John Hagard. The General Post Office rtports that owing to the departure of the Sierra from 'Frisco having been delayed, the Mariposa will leave on November 21st, starting a new timetable. News has been received from England that H. Warner, formerly a leading Trade Unionist hero, has boon elected by the carpenters and joiners of the whole of Australasia, to represent them on the General Council in England.
