THE POLLARDS.
Our readers will hardly need a reminder [of the visit of this favourite Op : ra Company, who appear at the Theatre Royal this evening. Their appearance in the fascinating " Maritana," costumed and mounted in the s'yle for which the Pollards are celebrated, will undoubtedly enhance the pleasure of 'their visit. The cast will be a very strong and excellent one, ensuring the production of the piece in a manner such as will satisfy the most critical. , We have already referred at length to the principal features of the opera, and as this will be the last occasion upon which if The Pollards " will appear here for at least two years, everyone who loves legitimate opera should avail themselves of the opportunity.
