PEE PRESi ASSOCIATION.) OmtisTCiijiteii, September 10. A man named Daniel Buckitt, who was stabbed at Richmond about midnight on Friday, is|in no danger. He was going home with a companion when he overtook a man named Caleb \ Lee, who was evidently drunk and making a great noiss. Buckitt asked Lee to go home, and the latter walked along with him, but when near his own gate turned and struck Buckitt a blow on the chest. Buckitt was not aware that he had been stabbed till he got home. Medical assistance was summoned, when it was found that tho : blade of the weapon used was evidently an ordinary pocket knife, which had ; struck one of bis ribs. Had the blow , been a little higher or lower the knife , would probably have penetrated the i chest. Lee was brought up and re- > manded to Friday.
