The final monthly competition at tbe local links was concluded on Saturday. Of *he ladies Miss 6. Stanford (4) 83, was first and Miss Standish (4) 84 was second. Messrs. Wocd (scr.) 102, and 8./Bayley (15) 104, qualified in the men's competition. Miss 6. Holdsworth (10) 83, and Mr Spencer (2) 102 made good scores, bat both players bad previously qualified. In the four competitions the following players have qualified:—Mioses Dilziell, G. Stanford, 0. Stanford, Skeet, Standish, Deacon, G. Holdworth, and B. Kirkby; Messrs. Spencer, Cornwall, Wood, R. Bayley, R. L. Stanford, A. Stanford, Elliott and Wright. The drawings and handicaps for hole play will be declared during the week.
