Tho following prisoners pleaded guilty and were also remanded for sentence:— Harold P. Gandy, theft of bicycle; John Meyer and Frank Voss, attempted burglary; George D.mt, forgery. Louis Doyle was sontonced to two years for theft, and Alexander Roid to eighteen months for forgery. i William Everebt was acquitted of the charge of stealing a portmanteau from the Manawatu Railway Station,
