A PECULIAR CASE.
[PEK PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Invbkcargii.l, August 16. I A peculiar case was before the Police Court to-day, when Francis King, a married sett'er at Fortrose, was charged with having, when armed with a loaded revolver, robbed R. A. Elliot, asi orekeeper, of £66 and having compelled Elliot to sign a cheque for £2B lis 8d and receipt an account for £27 8s 4d. As accused was only arrested yesterday, the Bench granted the police a remand till Thursday next.
