SUERRNDERS TO SIR CHARLES WARREN. Received 26,9.10 a.tn. London, June 25. A force under Commandant Dj Villiera, comprising 220 men, and includ ing 16 leading rebels, surrendered to Sir Charles Warren at Bl kfontein, with their horses, wagons, and titles. De Villiera fled eastwards. THE NEW ZEALAND CONTINGENTS. MAJOB ROBIN RECOMMENDED FOR PROMOTION. Wellington, June 26. The Cabinet has requested the Governor to recommend Major Robin for promotion to the rank of Colonel. DEATH OF TWO TROOPERS. * Wellington, June 26. Sir Alfred Milner re|wrtß the death at Beira, on June 19th, of J, F. A. Saxon, of the Fifth Contingent, who came from Palmerston North. The Government has been advised of the death at Kroonstad, from enteric fever, of Trooper T. W. Poole, of the Second Contingent. He was in the railway service at Invercargill, and his home was at Westport.
