(PUB PBEBS ASSOCIATION.) Aucelahd, June 18. The Auckland veterans celebrated ' the anniversary of Waterloo by * church parade on Sunday. The steamer Kawail has been pur* chased here to trade between Apia, Pago Pago, and other parts of the Samoan Group. Nearly all the northern members of Parliament left for Wellington to-day. The missing brigantine Enterprise has arrived at Kaipara. Frank Ryder Davis was committed for trial to-day on a charge of pocket- < picking on a racecourse. The City Sanitary Inspector is still vigorously prosecuting for dirty backyards, and obtains convictions almoat every day.
