Mr. Warren states that the Eastern Extension Company will takeno further steps whatever to approach New South Wales and Victoria with regard to the Gape cable. If they wish to come in they can do so on the same terms as the contributing colonies. On the other hand, the Postmaster-General says New South Wales and Victoria have delivered their ultimatum in the matter.
