TACTICS OF BOER LADIES. Received 30,10.40 p.m. Sydney, May 30. Lieutenant Edwards, of the New South Wales Medical Corps, writing from Bloemfontein, gives the following instance of Boer treachery :—" Some time ago thfa Intelligence Department was warned agaiost a certain family, but apparently took no heed. Whilst one, Miss X, one evening entertained a party of officer?, a sister mounted a bicycle and rode to the Boer camp, where she gave such information that we lost a convoy aud had three hundred casualties."
