Lieutenant-Oeneral lan HamiltoD, in bis march to HeilbroD, traversed 130 miles in eight days, fighting one battle and three skirmishes on the way. Lord Roberts t9legraphs:—" Lieut enant Webber Ewitt, who was on tele graph duty at Heilbron, being unaware that we had temporal ily withdrawn from the town, was captured." DYNAMITARDS THWARTED. SURRENDER OF REBELS. (Received 30, 1.25 a.m.) London, May 29. Major-Gcneral Hildyaid discovered , barrels of dynamite in the Town Hall at Newcastle. Forty rebels surrendered at Newcastle yesterday, and took the oath of neutrality under penalty of death, and were allowed to return to their farms.
