TRINITY COLLEGE, LONDON.

The annual meeting of the New Plymouth centre of Trinity College, London, took place on the 11th inst., there being present: Ven. Archdeacon Govett (in the chair), Dr. Hutchinson, Messrs. R. L. Stanford, E. Pridham, and the local secretary (Mr, N, K. MacDiarmid). After the minutes of the last meeting had been read and confirmed, correspondence inward and outward was laid upon the table. The Secretary then read certain letters which recently appeared in the local Press signed respectively by Mr. F. W. Richmond and himself, and laid before the Committee the circumstances which bad given rise to this correspondence. It was unanimously resolved that " the Committee having considered tbt letters between Mr. P. W. Richmond and the local secretary published in the local newspapers are of opinion that the local Secretary's explanation is in all respects satisfactory." Forty-four candidates were reported as having entered for the. examination to be held on 9tb June. Dr. Hutchinson wat appointed to supervise. The' High School Board of Governors are to bt asked for the use of a room in whicb to hold this examination. It vcas' resolved that a half-guinea priza b< given to the candidate securing highest marks at the June exam, and a guinea prize to the highest in the October examinations,
