PHB PBESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, April 24, The cheap railway fares for workmen begin on May 24th. The scheme will be applied at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin, and provides for weekly tickets from and to towns at two shillings. Mr. J. P. Campbell has been elected President of the" Wellington District Law Society, Mr. T. F. Martin, VicePresident. Messrs. W. S. lieid, Soli-citor-General, and H. D. Bell were re-elected Wellington members of the Council of the New Zealand Law Society. I
