[PBB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, April 21. At a meeting of the local Trades Unions, promoted by delegates now here for the purpose of putting matters on a basis, an agreement was arrived at that politics ought to be eliminated from the Wellington Trades Council, and a resolution was passed in favour of the Unions affiliating with the Council; also that a Committee should be formed for the purpose of dealing with politics only. A man named Penny, cook at Hillersden station, 13 miles from Blenheim, has been missing since Wednesday. He went out rabbit poisoning in a rough country and never returned.
