Capetown, April 11. Sir Frederick Carrington has arrived at Capetown, and has started for Beixa to assume command of the force illtended for the protection of Rhodesia. Mklsouksk, April 12. Colonel Hoad, who went to Africa with the Victorian Contingent, has been appointed Assistant-Adjutant to Major-General Hutton, commanding the Colonial Division.
