(PKK PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, March 27. Fred Arundel, engineer at the Limestone Island cement works, was drowned by the capsizing of a dingy while pro caeding to the island. Aichie Turner, his companion, was rescued by a boat from the shore, Inveecargill, March 27. A distressing drowning fatality has occurred at Woodstock. A boy n*med Fotbenngham fell into a waterhoie, and bis sister jumped in to his rescue and got stuck in the mud. The father saved the; boy, but the girl sank deeper in the |air*, and when extricated life was extinct.
