CHRISTCHURCH FIRES.
[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] ' Christchuhch, March 27. A seven-roomed house at Sydenham, owned by Joseph Shields, and occupied by his brother as a bakery, was burned down this morning, The buildiDg was msured in the Victoria Office for £275. The loss to the Insurance Companies by the fire at Warner's Hotel is nearly 25 per cent, of the total amount of insurance on the building, furniture, fittings, and stock.
