ELECTION TO VACANCIES. The voting papers Bent in by th< various School Committees for filling three annual vacancies on tho EJuca tion Board were opened at the BoardV meeting on Monday. There wtre 47 papers out of 53—the Eltham Road, Kaiauai, Mahoe, Rahotu, Tongaporutu, and Waihi Committees abstained from voting. The result was:— H. Faull .. ..40 J. Mackay ~ ~ 29 W. MeL.
