There is remarkable enthusiasm and a "reat rush of volunteers for the new Bushmen's Contingent in all the colonies. Locally several hundreds have applied to be enrolled, and so rushed the officers' quarters that a file of soldiers had to keep them at bay. Tho Bushmen's Fund totals £30,500.
