After sustaining heavy losses, chiefly on the part of the InniskiiliDg Fusiliers, be withdrew his force across the Tugela, but recrossed the river e!sewbera. On February 27th the Dublin Fusiliers crept along for a mile and a half and then ascended a cliff five hundred feet high, and captured Picter'g Hill. The Queen has telegraphed her deepest concern at the heavy losses sustained by her brave Irish soldiers. (Received 1, 8.39 a.m.) London, February 28. General Buller reports the capture of the enemy's mam position with sixty prisoners.
