[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Recoiled 24, xo a.m. Brisbane, February 24. The Premier is forwarding Mr. Chamberlain a strongly- worded protest against the Cape cable, on th* ground that it will prejudice the Pacific schotne. He his albo communicated with Ne«r Zetland and Canada, and asked tho Agent-General to communicate with the Board of Advice on the subject.
