W.C.T.U. CONVENTION.
[PEB PEESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, February 20. The W.C.T.TJ. Convention closed to-day. Resolutions wero passed for k he repeal of the CD. Act, the raising of the age of consent to 21, scientific cemperance instruction in public schools, and scientific temperance made a pass subject. The next Convention is to be held in Wellington. New Plymouth also gives an invitation. The '.numbers of the Convention went for a tripio Mount Eden, and will bo enterfained to-morrow at the suburban lesidence of the President (Mrs. Schaackenbtrg) nt Mount Albert.
