Seventy women, aged from 20 to 70 years, representing Britain’s 10,000 women bowlers, contested the Angfo-Scottish-Welsh International tourney at Glasgow, in which they conformed to ilhei rules prohibiting smoking on the green, playing bareheaded, insisting that dresses must be reasonably lond and shadow proof (not silk). Players mustt ikneel khen measuring woods in order to avoid any unseemly disturbance of the skirts.
