The Pope has. instructed the Papal Nuncio to receive King Carol of Rumania at Cracow during his visit to the Cathedral to pay homage to Pilsudski’s tomb. The Archbishop of Cracow, Monsignor Sapieha, who at present is indisposed, is confined to his Palace. It is Variously supposed that he objected to the visit either because King Carol a non-Catho-lic, or becayse of the nature of his private life.
