TOKO OLD PUPILS
Fourth Annual Reunion I Over 120 old pupils of the Toko | school attended the fourth annual reunion of the Old Pupils’ Associiation 1 last night. Mr Evan Jones jnr. pre- ! sided. The evening, which began with a ! tea, followed by a toast list and a | dance, was thoroughly successful, ■' the Toko hall being filled. The tolast list was: The King, Mr | E. Jones; The Press;; The Presi- I | dent. | Mr Jones said that the association | was formed four years ago to draw I old pupils together, and with the oh- i ject of preparing for the 'school’s j jubilee in 1940, it being felt that the ; organisation of celebrations on that • occasion would be rendered much I simpler by the existence of the as- ! eociation. items were given by Miss Eunice Raynor (pianoforte solo), Mr R. Anderson (baritone solos), and Miss- C. Milne (soprano solos). Mis§ E. Raynor and Mrs M. Chain : y were the accompanists. After the tea a dance was held, for which the music W-a.s played by the Valencia dance band, the masters of ceremony being Messrs Peter Jones and H. Ansell. Supper was provided by members of the association.
