New Zealand neutralised effective bowling in the morning by Indifferent batting in the <afteroon in the match against Norfolk. County were dismissed for 165, but the tourists were out for 122. Norfolk had one wicket down for ten when stumps were drawn. Gallichan struck a good length in the morning, and Tindill was excellent behind the wickets. From a bad start the tourists never recovered. The batting breakdown is alarming in view of the presence of several batsmen who are among the mainstays of the probable side tor the Test. The attendance is' 2000. Scores at e as follow: NORFOLK.
