Savage and Hon. and Mrs W. Nash glave an ”at home” at the Savoy Hotel. There were 600 guests', including such notabilities as Sir Charles and Lady Halifax, the Earl land Countess of Norfolk, Lord and Lady Bessborough, Lord Barnby, Lord and Lady Balfour, Lord and Lady Bledisloe, Sir Ivor Atkins, Lord | Elibank, Lord and Lady Hewtart, the ! Duchess of Atholl, the Maharaja of I Baroda, also Sir Samuel and Lady Hoare, Mr Malcolm MacDonald, Hon. and Lady Duff-Cooper, General Sir Alexander and Lady Godley, foreign and High Commissioners.
