Blomfield Accounts For Forsgren. Press Association—Copyrlghl Wellington, June 21. Hurtling head first through the ropes in a flying tackle that flattened Jack Forsgren, Lofty Blomfield won to-night’s wrestling bout at the Town Hall by two falls to one. The bout produced a gqqd deal of heavy elbow slogging. Forsgren in round seized Blomfield by the ankles and applied a Boston crab, to which the New Zealander was in haste to submit. In the next round Blomfield tripped Forsgren and from a toehold developed an octopus clamp, and it was Fdrsgren’s turn to beat the mat. Finally in the sixth round Forsgren -knocked Blomfield through the ropes with a forearm jolt. Blomfield returned torpedo-fashion and sent Forsgren finally to the mat. Stein Defeats Kirilenko On Points Press Association—Cc-.v'-m Auckland, June 21. A professional heavyweight contest staged under the control of the Auckland Wrestling Association at the Town Hall between Sammy Stein, America, and Mateos' - Kirilenko, Russia, was won by Stein on points after each man had secured a fall. The first fall was gained by Kirilenko in the fourth round following a series of headlock and forward chancery throws, these having been preceded by a series of forearm jolts. Stein evened in the seventh round with a body scissors and armbar after four flying tackles. It was a good lively bout witnessed by a crowd which almost filled the Town Hall.
