STRATFORD CROQUET CLUB
Sound Financial Position The annual meeting of the Stratford Croquet Club wias held on W°dneeday. The president, Mrs R. H. White, presided, there being a full attendance. The report and balance-sheet showed the club to be in a very sound/ financial position. Mrs White, who did not seek re-election* thanked officers and members for the help accorded her during herxterm of office. 'She congratulated the winners of the following cups: A Cup, Mrs. Bamford; runner-up, Mrs Burgess. B Cup, Miss Thompson; runner-up, Mrs Cook. Butcher Cup, Mrs Alger; runner-up, Mrs Knight. Mrs Blick congratulated the officers on the good work done during the year. The following officers were elected: President, Mrs Burgess; vice-presidents, Mesdames Moon and Hillock; secretary, Mrs. Cook; treasurer, Mrs D. White; green wardens, Mesdames Algar and Dickenson; committee, Mesdames R. H. White, G'-itton, Vinsen, Curtis, Weston; match committee, Mesdames Hillock, Knight and Ga(tto.n; delegates to South Taranaki. Croqud Association, Mesdames Moon and Cook; tea convener, Mrs R H. White.
