PRIMARY SCHOOL BATHS

Education Board’s Decision Instructions to prepare estimates for putting the Stratford school swimming baths in order were given by the Taranaki Education Board yesterday to the architect, Mr C. H. Moore. When that was done the board could consider applying to the Education Department for a grant, commented the chairman, Mr J. A. Valentine. To put the baths in order would cost roughly £250, said Mr Moore. He would not like to be a party to any more patchwork. He did not fear that the bank would give way, but there was seepage everywhere.
