Authority Refuses License “If hat is all that the applicant thinks about hit license it is effused," said Mr P. Skoglund, No. 2 Tmnsport Licensing Authority, at a sitting at Stratford this morning when it was learned that the applicant, who is also a storekeeper, did not intend to appear. “As a matter of Ihct," continued Mr Skoglund, he ig a type that we don't require. In his application he stated thrj’. he will make a minimum charge, but not for profit.’’ Mr P. Stainton, representing the Master (I rriers’ AssdiciaHon, mentioned' that a previous Authority had suggested that there be some Pt%>. virion for costs in such cases. Mr Skoglund said he would bring the matter of costs befdßfthe Commissioner of Transport.
