RECENT CONTROVERSY Member’s Name Deleted Press Association—Copyright. Dunedin. June 5. What is possibly a reflection of the recent controversy between Mi- F. McComish and Dr. D. G. McMillan. M.P., as .well as of other local happenings, is contained in a resolution adopted at a general meeting of the Dunedin branch of the National Unemployed Workers’ Movement. The resolution, which was carried by a large majority, read as follows: “That Mr F. McComish’s name be deleted from the membership of the Dunedin branch of the unemployed workers’ movement.” At a rec,ent public meeting Mr McComish alleged that Dr McMillan had charged the Labour Government with having “sold” the unemployed work, ers. Dr McMillan subsequently denied having made the-remarks attributed to him by Mr McComish.
