As the result of the initiative of a bank clerk, a young man who had presented a cheque at the Hamilton branch of the Bank of New Zealand to-day was apprehended in the street I and will appear in 'the Police Court I on a charge of forgery. i The cheque was for £,12 and bore ' the name ot a business man in Hamil- [ ton.
