Concert And Enrolments The following programme was presented at a meeting of the Stratford Girl Guides on Wednesday night. Piano solo. Miss D. Carryer; duet, Waveney Hughson and Joyce Hewitt. sailor‘s hornpipe, Barbara Ewing; racitation, Miss Ailsa Aitken; song. Miss P. Esplin; recitation, Olwyn Joll; piano solo, Waveney Hughson; song, Mrs W. Davis; Highland fling, Virginia Davis; choruses, the guides; recitation, Shano Golding; violin solo, Mr S. Htuchngs; play, the guides; recitation, Rev. J. Paterson; duet, Messrs C. Day and Dick; God Defend New Zealand. (The Rev. J. Paterson j was chairman. After the concert Miss Melville, captain of the Kaponga Girl Guides, enrolled Barbara Ewing and Shona Golding as guides and Guides Dorothy Lindup, Rona Young, Phyllis Femmel and Betty Blanchard as patrol leaders.
