The Australian Associated Press is authoritatively informed that the Imperial Conference has reached; no decisions of any kind in connection with Pacific shipping. On the contrary, the discussions regarding the matter have proved protracted and difficult, owing to the divergent views of 'the various Governments and the shipping companies Ev-ry endeavour• is being made to icach finality before the conclusion i I th ? conference. I J shed in London asserting that the Governments of Australia, New Zealand, England and Canada had agreed to subsidise the building of a 25,000 ton liner to replace the Niagara, and later the replacing of th e Aorangi.
