PROTEST TO VATICAN

It is learned that the protest to the Vatican declared Qhiait the Holy See* must realise by its refusal to publicly reprimand Cardinal Mundelein, of Chicago, .for his criticism of Germany that it has destroyed th e conditions necessary for normal relations between Germany and the Holy See.
Political circles indicate that the Note is intended in the nature of an ultimatum, and foreshadowing a rupture of diplomatic relations unless satisfaction is given.
