LODGE MEETING Donation To George V. Memorial Fund The quarterly meeting of the Loyal Stratford Lodge, M.U.1.0.0.F. was held in the lodge room last evening, N.G. Sister J. Marti presiding ' over 40 members. / The sum of £8 3s Id was passed for payment as the lodge's share of the £l5OO donated to the King Georgo V. Memorial Fund by the conference of delegates held in Wellington in April last. Four new members were initiated and welcomed to the lodge by D.D.G.M. Bro. H. Summerfield. I’.D.G.M. Bro. E. Woodley. of Eltham, gave a very interesting resume of the business conducted at the Wellington conference, members being very interested in some-of the figures quoted. In the course of his address Bro. Woodley stated that the funds of the Manchester Unity had increased from 1915 to 1935 by £1,000,000 while from 1926 to 1935, the membership bed increased by 5.578, an increase of 18.65 per cent. The increase in all societies for the period was 9 per cent. Final arrangements jwere made for the Stratford lodge to be judged by the ritual judges next lodge night. Slipper was served by the ladies committee.
