Missing her footing when ait tempting to board the Auckland train *vt the Morrinsville station l-ast evening, a young woman. Miss I>. Earton, of Morrinsville, had a lorruna.t-j escape from serious injury when she tell under th; carriage. Miss Barton and a companion became confused as the result of two trains being drawn up i t the station and i t t was not until the one bound for Auckland had commeived to move' that Miss.' Barton realised it was the one on which she intended to travel. When she fell under the carriage Miss Barton was caught by h r companion, and the gtiiird. who was near by. immediately flashed a danger signal to the engine crew.
