Australian Trade Commissioner Departs Press Association—Copyright “ Wellington, May 30. The Australian Trade CommlMioner in New Zealand', Mr R H. Nesbitlt, left Wellington yesterday afternoon by the Maunganui, and on his arrival at Sydney will sever his engagement with the Federal Government to take over the chairmanship of the New South Wales Milk Board under the State Government. Mr Nesbitt expressed deep appreciation of the courtesies accorded him in the three years during which he filled the office of Australian Trade Commissioner. ’I trust that as a result of my official life in New Zealand the feeling of goodwill and friendship from one country .to the ether may be found to have been more firmly cemented and more deeply ingrained in the hearts of the people of New Zealand. I will watch with interest the development of New Zealand, to see It continue to flourish and prosper and remain a brilliant jewel in the Empire crown.”
