Tribute To Late Mr J. McKendery Press Association—Copyright. Westport, May 30. A lifelong association with lire brigades on the West Coast was responsible for a large attendance of brigadesmen at ithe funeral to-day of Mr James McKendery. Eighty brigadesmen were present, six representing Kumara. Reefton, Denniston, Greymouth, Granity and Westport acting as pall-bearers. The Municipal Band led the cortege. All the local bodies and the Fire Board were representd.
